The Food Plan

 Broadly speaking, a balanced diet is composed of fibre, protein, and fats

The three components of a healthy eating style: variety, amount, and nutrition

 

By reducing our carbohydrate intake, the body has the opportunity to utilise a second fuel source, that fuel source is fat, this food plan literally burns fat as fuel and It’s called Nutritional Ketosis.

We hope we haven't lost you at this point because it's so important to know that not all Ketogenic diets are the same. Unlike other food plans, this programme includes plenty of nutrient fuelled fruits and vegetables. By combining intermittent fasting with a unique fat cycling program, your body begins to shift between using up stored fats and dietary fats to optimise weight loss. 

When we talk about Ketogenic: this is when your body uses ketones as an alternative fuel source to glucose. A ketone is a by-product of fat being burnt, it's your bodies preferred fuel and it is incredibly efficient for the brain and the heart. It is far better for your metabolism than it solely running on glucose, in the absence of simple carbohydrates your body will adapt to using ketones. 

This way of eating is not only designed to help with weight loss but also help address:
